Mediabox & Bebo Competition

THE FOURDOCS MEDIABOX COMPETITION IS BACK FOR 2008
Are you aged between 13 and 19? Do you want to win £500 to make a documentary that could be shown on Channel 4?

TELL US WHAT YOU WANT TO MAKE YOUR FILM ABOUT
FourDocs and Mediabox are inviting young people between the ages of 13 and 19 to think up an idea for a short (5 mins max) documentary about something you care about, and win £500 to make it! If you’re looking for some inspiration watch last years winning entries.
HOW?
We want you to write 200 words about what you would make your documentary about if you won. The best 10 ideas will win £500 to make the film over the summer holidays. To apply, please complete Mediabox’s online application form by 16th June 2008.

AND THEN…
If you win, you’ll be invited to come to a workshop at Channel 4’s headquarters in London where filmmaking experts will get you started on making your documentary. Once you’ve learnt the basics we’ll give you £500 and a filmmaking mentor to help you make your film.
